Betway, the renowned gaming operator based in Malta, has extended the sponsorship contract with CD Leganés, despite its relegation to the Second Division and the imminent approval of the Royal Decree that prohibits the advertising of betting companies.

Betway will continue to be the team's main sponsor, although at a much lower price than agreed before relegation.
On the other hand, the agreement contains an exit clause which will be triggered if the Royal Decree comes into force next season.
