The French group of Barrière casinos announced that it will start operations online through a platform that will initially be dedicated to sports betting, but which will later include horse racing and poker.
The group has signed an alliance with the company BetConstruct, authorized by the National Gaming Authority for online gambling activities, and which will be in charge of managing the BarrièreBet brand.
In this regard, Dominique Desseigne, CEO of Barrière, expressed:
"The online gaming market is a new area of ??development that will allow our group to consolidate its positions and promote its brands, but also increase our notoriety among new players, and retain our customers, followers of our land-based casinos."
On the other hand, a press release from the group assured:
