Caesars Entertainment delivered the first $ 15 million to the city of Danville, an action that marks the beginning of its major Caesars Virginia resort and casino project, which is scheduled to open to the public in the third or fourth quarter of 2023.

This initial payment is part of Danville's development agreement with Caesars Virginia after the successful approval of the referendum that gave the go-ahead to the casino project that will have a total investment of $ 400 million.
This new complex by the American entertainment giant will have a casino, several restaurants and bars, a hotel with at least 300 rooms, a 35,000-square-foot conference center, 2,500-seat theater, a swimming pool and a spa.
