Ceuta has announced the modification of the VAT Law, which means the achievement of one of the great objectives set by the administration of the autonomous city, to put an end to contradictory interpretations and promote the arrival of more companies in the gaming sector.
In this regard, article 70.2 of the VAT Law required that companies based in Ceuta, and that receive services provided from outside the city, had to pay VAT (21%) instead of the local IPSI tax (0.5 %).
Undoubtedly, this change will translate into a reinforcement of Ceuta's image as the best destination in Europe for iGaming operators, which in the medium and long term will boost the economy.
