Sportradar has made official the launch of a training program for athletes in regards to the integrity of social networks. In this regard, Germany's top ice hockey league, the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), is the first league to register as a customer of the service.
Sportradar's Social Media Integrity Education Service includes a series of webinars and personalized workshops.
Furthermore, league clubs and their players will receive tutorials on the integrity risks that can arise when using social media, as well as guidance on how to protect themselves and the reputation of their clubs.
In this regard, Andrew Whittingham, Head of Educational Integrity Services, Sportradar said: "The integrity and reputation risks that can arise when using social networks that are powerful."
