Evolution Gaming has announced the purchase of the entire capital stock of the Big Time Gaming company, recognized by popular titles such as Bonanza, Extra Chilli and Game Mechanic Megaways. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2021.
As explained by Evolution Gaming, in 2020 Big Time Gaming revenues amounted to 33 million euros with an EBITDA of € 29 million. Furthermore, the transaction is expected to contribute positively to earnings per share (EPS) for Evolution Group.
On this acquisition, Jens von Bahr, chairman of Evolution, said: "With the addition of Big Time Gaming to our portfolio of slot brands we strengthen our strategic position as the leading provider of digital casino games in the world." He also stressed that innovation and the creation of gaming experiences correspond to the objectives of Evolution.
Along the same lines, Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, assured that this union is the perfect combination and says that users "expect a bright and entertaining future."
