Betway continues to add its support and sponsorship to major sporting events. On this occasion, it announces its sponsorship of the only ATP Tour event in Belgium, the European Open.
Betway has explained that the hard-court tennis tournament, which will take place from October 17 to 24, is one of the most recent additions to the prestigious tour. Boasting an impressive list of previous champions including Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Kyle Edmund, the event attracts talent from the pinnacle of the sport.
The European Open is joining Betway’s impressive tennis portfolio, which already includes the Generali Open, Nordea Open, Miami Open, NOVENTI OPEN and the Mercedes Cup.
Regarding this new sports sponsorship, Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO, highlights that although it is a young event it has already had important names and says: "We're looking forward to supporting the competition as it grows into a leading event on the ATP Tour”.
On the other hand, Juan de Dios Aguirre, partner of Tennium, the company that owns and operates the tournament, was proud of the agreement reached with Betway and says: “Since the beginning of the tournament, in 2016, we have been working hard on improving the different aspects of the organization to give fans a top experience and to increase the value of our advertising assets”.
