London is doubling down on its position as a key hub for the gaming industry in Europe by launching the new London Casino & Gaming Expo (LCG), set to take place in January 2025, just before the ICE Barcelona event. This strategic move aims to draw the biggest names in the industry to the British capital, reinforcing its importance on the international trade show calendar.
Leading the lineup of exhibitors are European giants such as Novomatic, Merkur, and Inspired, who have already confirmed their participation. Martin Burlin, the show chairman, highlighted that LCG will be a dedicated event for land-based casinos, a segment that remains vital within the gaming ecosystem. "London has long been the go-to destination for the most important gaming events. The combination of trade shows, shopping, and the overall British experience is a significant draw for the industry," Burlin said.
Event ambassador Nick Harding emphasized that, in addition to the major gaming machine brands, the expo will also focus on including suppliers of essential products and services for casinos, such as payment systems, security, signage, and other auxiliary services.
With confirmed participation from companies such as Novomatic, Gauselmann Group with its Merkur UK subsidiary, Reflex Gaming, Inspired Entertainment, and EFCO, LCG is shaping up to be a must-attend event for the sector.
The London Casino & Gaming Show will be held at London’s ExCeL from January 14-16, 2025, and more companies are expected to join this new event aimed at establishing London as Europe's gaming capital ahead of the major event in Barcelona.
