Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) announced today that Hector Fernandez, former CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, has resigned and accepted a position with a competitor. Craig Toner, previously Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations for Aristocrat Gaming, has been appointed to succeed him effective immediately, pending necessary regulatory approvals.
Toner has been with Aristocrat for over seven years, holding key leadership roles in Australia and the US. After advancing through various finance and operations positions in Sydney, he became CFO and EVP of Operations for Aristocrat Gaming and relocated to Las Vegas three years ago. Prior to joining Aristocrat, Toner spent nearly 20 years in senior roles at Lion Ltd, a leading alcohol and beverage company in Australia and New Zealand. He holds a CPA certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Accounting, and Finance.

Acknowledging Hector Fernandez
Hector Fernandez joined Aristocrat in 2018 as CFO of the Americas Gaming business unit and was appointed CEO of Aristocrat Gaming in 2022. Croker expressed gratitude for Fernandez’s six years of service, recognizing his contributions to the company’s success. Fernandez is bound by a 12-month non-compete clause as part of his contractual obligations.
