Betsson Group's Deputy General Counsel, Dario Evangelista, joined 20 colleagues from Compliance, Technical Compliance, Governance, and Legal for a tree-planting day in Malta, highlighting the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Earlier this month, the team came together at Majjistral Nature and History Park, where they planted around 60 trees in collaboration with the NGO Heritage Parks Federation. Betsson Group contributed both the cost of the trees and the time of its employees to help restore and protect one of Malta’s most beautiful natural areas.
“It was nice to get the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact for the environment. And in addition to get to do it together, as a team,” said Dario Evangelista, who led participation from the Legal department.
The trees will be cared for by park rangers until they are strong enough to thrive on their own. The initiative forms part of Betsson’s broader CSR strategy and underlines the company’s commitment to sustainability and team engagement.
