Merkur Spielbanken, a subsidiary of the family-run Merkur Group, has strengthened its long-standing strategic alliance with Spintec, the Slovenia-based expert in Electronic Table Games (ETG).
So far, 125 roulette play stations have been installed across six venues, including the prominent Merkur Spielbank Monheim, one of Germany’s largest casinos, which alone hosts 44 play stations.
This achievement stems from a collaborative effort between Merkur Spielbanken, Merkur Gaming, and Spintec’s product development teams, who have designed customized setups aimed at maximizing performance and enhancing player engagement. Installations feature Spintec’s latest innovations such as multi-level jackpots, Hotspot Roulette, and the certified Galactic Spin Roulette.
Success has also been driven by the smart integration of compact and standalone units within immersive experience zones, seamlessly combining Automated, Live, and Virtual technologies to offer a well-rounded gaming experience.
Looking ahead, Merkur Spielbanken and Spintec are preparing for a major rollout of the Spectra ETG solution across all ten newly acquired casinos in Lower Saxony, marking the next step in their shared growth strategy.
David Schnabel, Merkur Group Management Board Member responsible for casinos, expressed his enthusiasm:
“Merkur Spielbanken’s success lies in its innovative mix of modern slot machines and classic casino offerings. Thanks to Spintec’s high-performing ETG solutions, we’re delighted to further expand our entertainment portfolio for our guests.”
Goran Sovilj, Spintec’s Global Sales Director, added:
“We’re extremely proud to have broken through in the traditionally conservative German market. We sincerely thank Merkur Spielbanken for their trust and look forward to a thriving partnership moving forward.”
