Chile already has two platforms of large operators to lobby for the regulation of online gambling
The new Responsible iGaming Group (AGR), formed by Betano, Betsala, Estelarbet, Juegalo and Novibet, joins aPAL, which represents Betsson, Coolbet and Latamwin.
Online gaming operators strengthen their representation in Chile with the creation of the Responsible iGaming Association (AGR), a new sectoral platform made up of Betano, Betsala, Estelarbet, Juegalo and Novibet.
AGR will be led by attorney Sandra Kemp and aims to collaborate with the State, Congress and regulatory bodies to promote regulations that allow operating under licenses, supervision and tax obligations.
The organisation defends seven principles, including responsible gambling, the protection of minors and vulnerable groups, transparency, institutional cooperation, tax contribution and the rejection of illegal offers.
With its constitution, Chile now has two platforms promoted by operators to lobby for the regulation of online gambling.
AGR joins the Chilean Association of Online Betting Platforms (aPAL), represented by Carlos Baeza and currently linked to Betsson, Coolbet and Latamwin.
Through its information platform Apuesta por Regulate, aPAL also calls for a competitive and supervised market, with measures to protect users, prevent access by minors and a tax structure aligned with international standards.
The appearance of AGR thus increases the pressure on the industry while the draft regulation of online betting continues its processing in Chile.
