Ida López joins IAGR's Board of Directors and strengthens Argentina's voice in global gambling regulation
The president of ALEA joins the governing body of the International Association of Gambling Regulators.
Ida López, president of the Association of Argentine State Lotteries (ALEA), has joined the Board of Directors of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR), within the framework of its annual conference, held from October 19 to 22 in Lima, Peru.
His incorporation reinforces the Argentine and Latin American presence in an organization that brings together regulators from different jurisdictions to exchange experiences and address industry challenges.
Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA) celebrated López's appointment, along with the appointment of Brian Krolicki as IAGR's new president, and highlighted his importance for the region's participation in international regulatory debate spaces.
The Lima conference addressed issues such as prediction markets, conflicts between jurisdictions, sports integrity and user protection. In this context, the entry of the president of ALEA on the Board of Directors opens a new space to contribute the experience of Argentine organizations to international cooperation.
