Cirsa earns €195 million in operating profit in the third quarter and aims for the top of its forecasts for 2026
Cirsa's revenues grew by 12% in the third quarter and the company has 73 quarters of growth.
Cirsa does not lose step. The leading gaming company in Spain closed the third quarter of 2026 with operating revenues of €628 million, 12% more than a year earlier, and an operating profit of €195 million, up 6.8%. With these figures, the Terrassa-based group has posted 73 consecutive quarters of growth compared to the same period last year.
The figure comes after a second quarter in which Cirsa exceeded 200 million euros in quarterly operating profit for the first time. The company itself offers a figure that helps to compare: adjusted operating profit, which discounts the expenses of the merger project with Lottomatica, reaches 203 million euros, with a growth of 11.1%.
In the first nine months as a whole, revenues rose by 10% and operating profit by 7.8%. At this pace, Cirsa expects to end the year at the top of the range that it communicated to the markets. The company attributes the evolution to the strength of its operations, discipline in execution and the contribution of the businesses incorporated in recent months. It also stresses that growth has been balanced by countries and channels, in an environment of strong macroeconomic and geopolitical instability.
The results come in the countdown to the merger with Lottomatica, the large Italian gaming and lottery operator, with which Cirsa announced its merger in September. The company has called an Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting for November 30 in Terrassa with the aim of advancing in this operation, which culminates the parallel trajectory of two giants born in Terrassa and Rome.
By divisions, the Casinos division maintained a positive evolution and added a new market. Cirsa has incorporated two casinos and two rooms in Paraguay, its first presence in that country, and has opened a new casino in the Serrezuela shopping center, in Cartagena de Indias, with which it reinforces its presence in Colombia. As part of its Gold Mine renovation strategy, it has completed works in the Dorado and Colón casinos, in Panama, and in the Lloret Casino, and has expanded the machine room of the Marbella Casino with more than 30 new machines.
At Slots España, revenues and, above all, operating profit continued to grow thanks to the Manhattan Magic, Manhattan Premium and Omega Duo models, intense commercial activity and cost containment, in line with what Unidesa already showed in the second quarter. The company highlights the launch of Omega Dual Link in the uElite+ cabinet for hospitality, which has improved the quality and competitiveness of its fleet, and the work to optimize routes and productivity.
In Italy, Cirsa maintained a stable evolution, in line with the market, with particularly good results in VLTs, the video lottery terminals of the Italian market. During the quarter, it completed the integration of the recently acquired rooms and implemented measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
The division that continues to grow the most is online gaming and sports betting. Amounts wagered increased by 43.4%, net income by 19% and deposits by 39.4% compared to the same period in 2025. According to the company, these indicators confirm the strength of the business after the World Cup campaign.
