The Council of Ministers has approved the draft of the General State Budgets for the year 2021 which includes the modification of the VAT Law, jointly requested by the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla in order to maintain the tax benefits approved for call investment.
This modification of article 70, related to the special rules on the place where services are provided, would imply that companies based in Ceuta would pay the IPSI (0.5%) and not the VAT (21%).
This decision paves the way for the arrival of more companies in the gambling sector and therefore more hiring of personnel, which in the medium and long term will result in the revitalization of the economy.
