Entain has published a press release informing about changes in its board of directors. In this regard, it confirms the appointment of Robert Hoskin as its Chief Governance Officer, which came into effect on January 1, 2021.
On the other hand, the global sports betting and gaming group, formerly known as GVC Holdings PLC, announced the departure of Jane Anscombe as Non-Executive Director with effect from December 31, 2020.
According to Entain, the confirmation of Robert Hoskin follows the announcement of October 22, 2020 in which his appointment was proposed, considering his 15 years of experience in the group, and his fundamental role for growth and development, supervising its corporate governance, legal and regulatory requirements in more than 20 countries on five continents.
Regarding the departure of Jane Anscombe, to seek other opportunities, Entein has appreciated her work and announces that her successor as Remuneration Committee Chair will be announced in due course.
On these important announcements, Barry Gibson, President of Entain, said: “Robert has made an outstanding contribution to Entain in his 15 years at the Group. He is responsible for regulation, legal and governance, all of which are central to our long-term growth plans to build a responsible and sustainable business of global scale and world class standard ”.
He also wanted to thank Jane Anscombe's work for “her significant contribution and commitment to Entain over the past three years.
