Raw iGaming announces that it has completed the acquisition of Leander Games, which will allow them to drive the expansion of SuperSlice® games in regulated markets, as well as introduce a new business area in aggregation.
Raw iGaming has confirmed in a press release that RAW's new innovations will deliver exciting features and differentiated content to Leander's integrated customer base across Europe and South America, which together represent 13 regulated markets.
On the acquisition, Tom Wood, CEO of Raw, commented: “This is an amazing opportunity to bring together our SuperSlice innovation with one of the best distribution platforms in the industry along, with access to the studio that is known for great titles like Ave Caesar and Alibaba and the Forty Thieves".
He has also explained that the synergies of both in terms of game development are clear, so the transaction makes “Raw a new force to reckon within content and game distribution”.
While Steven Matsell, Leander CEO, assures that as part of the Raw family they will contribute their successful platform to Raw's innovative vision, thus strengthening dedication to customers and partners, "offering new games and platform innovations which are sure to shake up the market”.
To finish, it should be considered that this is Raw's first acquisition; however, the company is looking at additional opportunities to encourage further expansion.
