888Africa announces that it has selected Sportingtech and its Quantum platform to boost its entertainment offer in the African market.
Thanks to the partnership with Sportingtech, 888Africa will be able to offer its customers in the four launch markets access to more than 65 sports, 9,000 games and more than 1,000 betting markets.
“Sportingtech’s Quantum platform gives us exactly what we’re looking for in order to excel in the African market – an outstanding degree of customization, modularity and control,” said 888Africa Co-Founder and CEO Christopher Coyne.
On the other hand, the director of sales of Sportingtech, Colin McDonagh, commented: “888 is a huge global operator with an incredible reputation and a brand that has become synonymous with betting and gaming. As a result, it's deeply gratifying that 888Africa has trusted us to deliver exactly what is required to achieve success across the African landscape."
We must remember that, as we published last March, 888 has teamed up with five industry specialists to form a joint venture called 888Africa, in which 888 has an initial minority stake.
The idea is to offer products and games designed for local preferences within the African market. As an initial step, and subject to license, 888Africa expects to launch in four markets during 2022.
