Ceuta took center stage at the welcome dinner of the Forbes Ceuta AI & Tech Summit 2026, a gathering that brought together institutional representatives, business executives, and technology leaders as a prelude to a summit focused on innovation, artificial intelligence, talent, connectivity, and emerging economic opportunities.
During the evening, held at the Parque Marítimo del Mediterráneo, speakers emphasized Ceuta's strategic role as a bridge connecting Europe and Africa, as well as its capacity to position itself at the forefront of the new digital economy.
Karim Bulaix, President of the Ceuta Chamber of Commerce, stressed that the city "possesses all the necessary ingredients to live, build a business, and invest," showcasing its ongoing commitment to nurturing talent, driving digital transformation, and fostering innovation.
The event served as the official kickoff for the Summit, which under the slogan "The Strait of the Future" will address key industry topics such as artificial intelligence, data centers, digital infrastructure, logistics, tourism, investment, and talent management.
