Playtech brings online bingo to the format of a live program with games, contests and conversation
Dab & Blab Live allows operators to combine gameplay and entertainment through a shared broadcast.
Playtech has announced the launch of Live Bingo Stream, a proposal that integrates live entertainment and interaction between players within online bingo. Its core content, Dab & Blab Live, combines games with live chats, mini-games, quizzes, themed content and prizes.
For operators, the novelty lies in the distribution model: the service is offered through a shared broadcast through the Playtech network, accessible from different bingo halls. According to the company, this structure allows live entertainment to be incorporated in a scalable way to the operators of its British and .COM network. The announcement does not specify a launch for the Spanish regulated market.
The proposal seeks to transfer one of the traditional attributes of face-to-face bingo to the digital environment: the social experience that accompanies the game. The conversation and complementary activities become part of a format in which the content can vary between sessions.
Christina Marie Giuffré, Director of Online Bingo at Playtech, explains that Dab & Blab Live brings back the interaction and entertainment that have historically characterized bingo to bring them closer to online audiences. Each program combines interactive content and live participation with the aim of generating a shared experience and reinforcing the feeling of community.
The launch reflects a relevant line of development for bingo professionals: to expand the offer beyond the game mechanics through content and participation spaces. Playtech thus places entertainment and the relationship between users together with games as central elements of its digital proposal.
