GMONITOR proves in Lisbon that it is the best: beat four powerful rivals and conquer the SBC First Pitch 2026
The jury chose the competitive intelligence platform as the best proposal among five international finalists specializing in AI, compliance, engagement and gaming technology.
GMONITOR has not only won the SBC First Pitch 2026. It has done so by beating four international companies with top-level technological proposals and before a jury specialized in investment, innovation and business growth.
The victory at the SBC Summit in Lisbon allows the dimension of recognition to be measured more precisely. Only five projects remained on the stage of the Product Innovation Showcase: GMONITOR, Betsy, InsightPlay.ai, Safefy and Whizgen AI. Five companies, five different technological models and a single winner.
And it was GMONITOR.
Each finalist had just three minutes to defend their product, business model and growth plan, followed by another three minutes of questions. In this particularly demanding format, the competitive intelligence platform managed to convince the jury over solutions focused on some of the most competitive areas currently in iGaming.
One of the rivals was InsightPlay.ai, which specializes in the use of autonomous AI agents for different phases of the operator-player relationship, from acquisition and customer service to retention and reactivation.
Safefy also competed, a proposal aimed at one of the areas that is growing the most within the regulated market: compliance, fraud prevention, risk control, AML and player protection.
Whizgen AI arrived with a solution built around artificial intelligence applied to operators, with automation, personalization and predictive models tools aimed at improving the user experience and optimizing aspects such as content retention and recommendation.
The fifth proposal was Betsy, focused on turning predictions about sports, entertainment and other events into a technological and social experience for the user.
Faced with all of them, GMONITOR brought to Lisbon a different approach that is directly connected to an increasingly critical need for online gambling operators: to know exactly what the competition is doing and to have that information in a structured, up-to-date and actionable way.
The platform uses artificial intelligence to monitor regulated markets and systematically track promotions and bonuses, games, suppliers, rankings, advertising, social media, acquisition processes, registrations and competitive movements, reducing a task that traditionally requires a huge number of hours of manual work.
It's not just about gathering information. The value of GMONITOR is in sorting, comparing, and transforming it into competitive intelligence for sales, marketing, product, and strategy teams.
That was the model that the jury placed above four specialized technological rivals and the one that made GMONITOR the winner of the SBC First Pitch 2026.
INFOPLAY had already followed this path very closely. Last August we published that GMONITOR had managed to enter the small group of five finalists in the competition, while obtaining a double nomination at the SBC Awards.

We also told how the company prepared Lisbon with an intense agenda of meetings with operators, suppliers, associations, investors and industry professionals, in parallel to the international presentation of its technology.

And just a few hours before the final, INFOPLAY explained how GMONITOR arrived in Portugal from Las Vegas, after having been selected to participate in the Zero Labs innovation ecosystem.

The succession of milestones now takes on another meaning. First came the international team. Then, Las Vegas. Then the final in Lisbon. And finally, victory.
The First Pitch SBC is designed precisely to identify emerging companies with the capacity to grow and provide the winner with a package of technological, commercial and promotional resources aimed at accelerating their next phase of development.
But probably the most important asset for GMONITOR is another: the international validation of its model against four highly specialized proposals.
In a final with artificial intelligence applied to the player, compliance, prediction, automation and personalization on the table, the jury ended up choosing GMONITOR's competitive intelligence.
Lisbon thus leaves a particularly powerful conclusion for the company: among five of the startups selected to represent the emerging innovation in the sector, GMONITOR was chosen as the winner.

And she came out as number one.
