Sportradar has closed the third quarter of 2026 with a 24% growth in revenues, reaching 363 million euros, at a time when predictive markets are beginning to consolidate themselves as a new source of business for large international providers of sports technology and data.

According to the official results published by the company on November 3, net profit for the period increased by 20% to €27 million, while adjusted gross operating profit grew by 21% to €102 million, with a margin of 28.2%.

The betting technology and solutions division was one of the main drivers of growth. Its revenue increased by 27% to €297 million, driven especially by content services for betting and gaming, which advanced by 37%.

This evolution is influenced by both the incorporation of activities from IMG ARENA and the increase in demand for products and services by traditional operators and new entrants in predictive markets.

Precisely, predictive markets occupy an increasingly prominent space in Sportradar's strategy.

The company has confirmed the expansion of its commercial relationships with platforms, intermediaries and liquidity providers linked to this activity, which use sports data, audiovisual content and technological solutions to develop their markets.

Recent operations include the expansion of its alliance with Polymarket, announced in August, which extends the collaboration to more than 20 international sports leagues and competitions.

The agreement incorporates broadcasts and official data from competitions such as the German Bundesliga, Euroleague basketball and Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Sportradar also maintains a technology alliance with Kalshi, announced in June, to provide data and infrastructure to the platform and its ecosystem of participants.

These business relationships are particularly significant because they place a traditional supplier to the betting industry at the centre of an activity whose regulatory treatment continues to be the subject of international debate.

Sportradar already recognizes contributions from customers linked to predictive markets within its business lines, although it does not publish a separate figure that allows determining what percentage of its revenue comes specifically from this activity.

The company has also improved its cash generation. Operating cash flow reached €157 million, up 37%, while free cash flow increased by 12% to €73 million.

During the quarter, Sportradar repurchased $157 million worth of shares and announced an agreement to divest Atrium Sports for $170 million.

The growth of its technology and commercial contracts confirms that the company is strengthening its position in different segments of the digital sports ecosystem.

And there is a particularly interesting conclusion for the gaming industry: predictive markets no longer represent only a competitive threat or a regulatory unknown for bookmakers, but also a new business opportunity for traditional providers.

Sportradar is among the companies that have started to take advantage of it.
