450 ONCE workers in Aragon have not received their unemployment benefit
Comisiones Obreras (CC.OO.) Aragón denounced that more than half of the ONCE workforce in that autonomous community has not received the corresponding unemployment benefit. In total, 350 vendors and 100 office workers have been waiting for more than 35 days.
For these irregularities, the union CC. OO. Aragon demands that if the situation is not resolved on May 15, the ONCE directly pays the amount owed to its employees, and once the activity is normalized they will be able to recover the money from the monthly payroll.
The union rejects the ONCE's offer to give aid of 800 euros from June 5, because the staff cannot go two months without receiving any income.
On the other hand, they denounce that throughout Spain "the majority of the ONCE executives, including intermediate positions, have been left out of the application of the ERTE."
In this regard, Raquel Pérez, territorial delegate of the ONCE in Aragon has expressed that they are trying to solve the problem but have not been able to contact SEPE due to the current high demand and highlights that the company is the most interested in solving the situation.
