Hard Rock International acquires Full Intellectual Property Rights To Hard Rock Hotel & Casino brands in Las Vegas
Thanks to the agreement, Hard Rock International regains ownership of the brand and can use it for commercial purposes. And it is that we remember that the owner of the Group's casino & hotel is a conglomerate of companies and funds that include sector groups such as Virgin Hotels and especially Juniper Capital Partners.
Hard Rock International - owned by the Florida Seminole tribe and with more than 230 establishments in the US alone - has re-acquired the intellectual property rights to its Las Vegas hotel and casino, the company announced Wednesday.
The acquisition will give Hard Rock "the opportunity to enhance its presence in Las Vegas, which will always be one of the world's most iconic entertainment markets," said President Jim Allen in a press release. Also, remember that Allen acknowledged to Bloomberg Radio in October that the company was considering buying property on the Las Vegas Strip as well.
The deal is with stock firm Juniper Capital, which bought the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in 2018 from Brookfield Asset Management.
According to a press release, Hard Rock International is buying all the souvenir, signage and marketing rights, along with the intellectual property rights for restaurants and entertainment.
The company says it is now free to develop, own and operate a Hard Rock-branded casino or resort in Clark County.
