KIROLBET and Osasuna agree to terminate the agreement as the main sponsor (Video)

Five seasons have passed since KIROLBET and Osasuna joined in a common project, a very important collaboration for both entities that has provided a solid foundation in the growth of both projects.

These 5 years have meant a long journey in which both brands have joined forces at very good times and not so good times. A collaboration focused on what is ours ... no matter where it is.

The first three seasons with a relationship agreement as the Official Club Betting House, where difficult moments were experienced with the team's descent to the Second Division. In a difficult moment for the Club, both sports and financial, KIROLBET was taking a firm step and making a commitment, never better said, of trust and commitment to C.A. Osasuna signing a new agreement for 3 seasons, this time, as the Main Sponsor. Since then, and until next Sunday when Osasuna will play his last league game against Mallorca, Osasuna's first team players have worn the KIROLBET logo on their shirts.

With this latest agreement, KIROLBET has been an important boost in the financial reconstruction of the Club, which is an important factor in the dream of having the Club in the First Division before the entity's centenary, in what would be the seventh promotion to the highest category in 96 years. A very important milestone for the Club and for the entire Community of Navarra.

In a season in which Osasuna has overcome the sporting challenge signing the permanence without great setbacks, efforts and attention have focused on the reforms of the new Sadar and concern by the fans about the sponsorship of a Betting House. On this point, it is convenient to remember that the president of Osasuna, Luis Sabalza, promised at the last meeting of the club's associate members to explore the possibility of breaking the contractual relationship with KIROLBET, which was born in April 2018 and expires in 2021.

Between the two entities, and jointly safeguarding the commitment to ethical and responsible gambling, on June 20, 2020 a friendly term was reached for the termination of the Main Sponsor contract for the last year of the remaining contract. AC Osasuna would like to publicly thank KIROLBET for their willingness and confidence to tackle this situation, as well as the effort, commitment and firm support that they have shown towards our Club in recent years of collaboration.

Last July 9, the draft Royal Decree on Commercial Communications of Gaming Activities was published, where the action of sponsorship by companies in the gaming sector is limited by law. This officialization came after the decision made by both entities, without influencing the decision-making.

In any case, KIROLBET as a local company will continue to be an important partner and a friendly entity for the Fundación Club Atlético Osasuna.
