Caesars Entertainment, the American entertainment giant, continues with its expansion plans and this time announces an investment of $ 325 million for its Caesars New Orleans project, which is scheduled to open its doors in 2024.
Harrah's New Orleans, will be transformed into Caesars New Orleans, an elegant complex that will have 340 rooms a few meters from the iconic French Quarter.
Caesars New Orleans will feature:
- A brand new 340-room hotel tower
- New gastronomic and hotel offers inside the casino
- Additional development of the unoccupied area on the second floor of the casino
- Interior and exterior design and architecture improvements
On this great project with the distinctive Caesars brand, Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment highlighted the group's joy in reaffirming its commitment to the city in which they have been operating for 20 years, generating large tax revenues and numerous jobs.
For her part, LaToya Cantrell, Mayor of New Orleans, said: "We are excited that this expansion will mean hundreds of construction jobs during the project and hundreds more in sustainable and new jobs post-construction. The addition of Caesars New Orleans will strengthen our city's position as the top cultural and entertainment destination city in the nation. "
It should be noted that the project proposed by Caesars Entertainment could generate 600 jobs in construction and 500 jobs after this phase.
