Greek company OKTO, a specialist in digital payments and user engagement applications, has partnered with Advansys, a provider of casino management systems (CMS) to bring instant mobile payments directly to gaming machines in casinos and gaming halls throughout Europe with OKTO.WALLET
In a press release, OKTO explains that this alliance will allow gaming operators to benefit from OKTO.WALLET's innovative cashless solution, which integrated with Advansys Nexio CMS offers both a convenient and secure as well as a fast payment experience at the gaming machines.
Players in Europe will be able to adopt a true cashless mobile payment experience, using the free OKTO app on their mobiles to interact with the machines, connected to Advansys' powerful NEXIO casino management system (CMS).
The service allows players to load credits directly from their mobile phone via the OKTO.WALLET to a gaming machine and collect their winnings at the end of the play session, straight into their OKTO app. The players have multiple ways to load and withdraw funds from their OKTO account, such as payment card and bank as well as access their account instantly through the OKTO issued prepaid card connected to their OKTO.WALLET.
As reported by OKTO, the application is based on the QR Code payment technology, it is accessible for all smartphones without any limitations, while also, through the QR code recognition the solution safeguards instant pairing between player and gaming machine. Alongside, the solution ensures fast time to market for the operators due to its entirely software-driven nature that eliminates the need for any hardware integrations and components.
