STAKELOGIC has acquired Serbian-based software developer Smart & Applied DOO to further enhance and increase its in-house game development capabilities.
STAKELOGIC has reported that Smart & Applied will be renamed Stakelogic Serbia and the division will move to new offices in Belgrade later this year as the slot provider strengthens internal capabilities.
Smart & Applied was founded as a game development studio and has been working with Stakelogic for the past three years. Its founder, Igor Marinkovic, will be appointed CEO of the division.
Regarding this important purchase, Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO of Stakelogic, underlines that “it strengthens our in-house development capacity and will allow us to continue to grow at pace while delivering new content to the market on a regular basis”. On the other hand, Igor Marinkovic, General Manager of Stakelogic Serbia, has been delighted that he and his team can "continue to focus on game development under the Stakelogic name", one of the fastest growing game providers in the industry.
It should be noted that Stakelogic is responsible for some of the most popular online casino content in the market with its games now live across more than 500 operators around the world.
