The Macao government has announced that, while the new legal regulations are approved, casino licenses will be extended for six months. In this way, the licenses that expired on June 26 will be extended until December 31.
With this extension, the six Macau operators, Wynn Macau, Sands China, MGM China, SJM Holdings, Galaxy Entertainment and Melco Resorts would have more time to prepare for the new bidding process.
