The European Casino Association (ECA) announces a new structure of its board of directors after a meeting held in the framework of the ICE London 2022 fair.
ECA has explained that the retirement of Bettina Glatz-Kremsner as CEO of Casinos Austria has caused a restructuring of the Board of the European Casino Association. In this regard, her seat on the ECA Board has been filled by Erwin van Lambaart, who moved from his position at Holland Casino to CEO of Casinos Austria earlier this month.
On the other hand, Pieter Boers, Vice President Gaming and Services at Holland Casino, joins as a new board member to fill Erwin van Lambaart's vacant position as the Netherlands representative on the ECA Board.
We must remember that Bettina Glatz-Kremsner held the position of vice-president of the European Casino Association (ECA) and recently participated as a jury member in the Fourth Edition of the INFOPLAY Awards for Responsible Gaming and CSR.
Per Jaldung, President of the ECA, praised Bettina Glatz-Kremsner's contribution to the association and the casino industry. “During the last two years, she has been critical to the unified response of the land-based casino sector to the adversity faced by members during the Covid-19 crisis,” he added.
On the other hand, the president of the ECA has congratulated Erwin van Lambaart for his new position leading Casinos Austria and says: “As an existing and highly valued ECA Board Member, I look forward to maintaining our close working relationship. I also extend a warm welcome to our newest Board Member, Pieter Boers, whose input is most welcome at this pivotal time for the land-based casino industry in Europe”.
