INFOPLAY/ COMUNICADO |
Pixel United has released its mid-year financial results, highlighting another top-of-the-line record performance, delivering strong growth and outperforming the market in key gaming categories. All this, despite challenging operating conditions, including in Ukraine, segment profit was also at an all-time high.

Among the most outstanding aspects in this period, the new studies in Canada, Barcelona and Poland stand out. This means that they have a total of 18 studios and operations in 10 countries.

They also credit having retained their position among the top 5 global mobile publishers in their tier one markets and remain #1 in the social slots and squad RPG genres.

Pixel United CEO Michael Lang said: “I am incredibly proud of our Pixel United teams for delivering another strong performance in the first half of this financial year. Leveraging the power of our diverse and global portfolio, we have demonstrated the strength and resilience of our business and will continue to build on this momentum in the six months ahead. I am continually inspired by the courage, commitment and talent of our teams."

On the other hand, within the balance published by Aristocrat, these data from Pixel United stand out:
  • RAID: Shadow LegendsTM continued its impressive, profitable growth trajectory driven by ongoing investment in content, features, and Live Ops.
  • Continued to expand and diversify the portfolio, including finalizing a minority investment in the studio Ultracine, based in Montreal, bringing new casual game development capabilities to the business.
  • Average Bookings Per Daily Active User (ABPDAU) increased by 11%, driven by improved performance in all segments, particularly in Social Casino and Social Casual games.
  • In March, Pixel United suspended operating its mobile games in Russia. This market historically contributed approximately 3% of total annualized Pixel United bookings, largely in the Plarium portfolio.
  • Plarium Play, the proprietary, commission-free platform, accounted for ~27% of total Plarium revenues over the period, up from ~20% in FY2021.
