The president of the City, Juan Vivas, visited the new facilities of the online gaming company "888", located in the emblematic building of the Casa de los Dragones in Ceuta.
These recently expanded facilities house over 60 employees of the firm, making it one of the leading companies in the sector in the city.
During his tour of the new facilities, which occupy the ground floor of the building, the president had the opportunity to talk with the company's director, Rebeca Chacón, and other company officials. He also interacted with the team, mostly composed of young people from Ceuta, confirming the important role that online companies play as job creators in the region.
The company "888" is part of the more than 50 companies in the technology sector that are already established in Ceuta, which has led to the creation of over 600 jobs in recent years. These figures reflect the consolidation of one of the City Government's most determined initiatives in terms of economic development and digital transformation.
The inaugural visit was attended by the councilors of Development, Environment and Urban Services, Alejandro Ramírez; and of Commerce, Tourism, Employment and Sports, Nicola Cecchi; as well as the Director General of Finance and Budget, Juan Manuel de la Torre, and the Manager of OASTCE, Enrique Reyes.
