adp Merkur GmbH, part of the international Merkur Group, has appointed Heike Bode as the new Managing Director of Sales. She takes over from Dominik Raasch, who joined the Board of Directors at Merkur.com AG in January.
In her new role, Heike Bode will oversee all sales operations and lead the company’s commercial strategy both in Germany and internationally. “Heike Bode is the perfect fit for this role. Her experience and leadership will help take our sales division to the next level,” said Raasch.
Bode knows Merkur Group inside and out. She has been with the company for 30 years, holding various key positions that have given her a comprehensive understanding of the business. She started in national controlling, later managed Sales Administration, and more recently led the group’s business transformation and finance for Merkur Freizeit Leasing GmbH.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me,” said Heike Bode. “My goal is to strengthen adp Merkur’s position in our existing markets and explore new international opportunities. With our fantastic team, I’m confident we will continue to grow the Merkur brand globally.”
Additionally, the company announced that Jochen Clemens will now also serve as the management spokesperson, a role previously held by Raasch, alongside his current duties as Managing Director of Finance.
