ACR Poker Unveils First-Ever Battle of Malta Online Series with €4.6 Million Guaranteed

ACR Poker, in collaboration with the renowned European poker festival Battle of Malta (BOM), has officially released the schedule for the first-ever online edition of the event. The Battle of Malta Online will kick off this Sunday on the ACR Poker platform, boasting a €4.6 million guaranteed prize pool (equivalent to $5 million USD) across a total of 68 tournaments.

Highlights of the series include a multi-flight event with a €61 buy-in and a €460,000 guarantee, with Day 1 flights starting July 3rd and Day 2 set for July 27th. Other major events include Event 68, with a €100 buy-in and €368,000 guaranteed, and Event 67, offering a €580 buy-in and a €552,000 prize pool. A wide range of lower buy-in events—starting at just €5—ensures accessibility for players of all levels.

In addition to the online prize pools, players will have the chance to win one of ten €8,000 packages to participate in the live Battle of Malta festival, which will take place at Casino Malta from October 28 to November 5. These packages will be awarded through Beast Satellites, held exclusively on July 13 and 20 at 23:05 CET (5:05 p.m. ET), with five packages up for grabs each Sunday.

All Main Event satellites will run exclusively on ACR Poker, and players who survive Day 1 online will carry their stack into Day 2 of the live tournament in Malta.

€32,000 Leaderboard Contest

The series will also feature a €32,000 leaderboard competition, split into two tiers:

High Buy-in (over €40): Top prize of €7,400

Low Buy-in (under €30): Top prize of €3,700

In addition, the overall leaderboard winner will receive an €8,000 package to the live Battle of Malta in October.



This online launch coincides with the 10-year anniversary of the Battle of Malta festival, now considered one of Europe’s most iconic poker events. Celebrated for its elite competition and festive atmosphere, the event drew participants from over 60 countries last October and surpassed €4.7 million in total prize pools.

The 2025 live edition will feature €2 million guaranteed, a revamped schedule including the €2,200 ACR High Roller, and a series of off-the-felt experiences to enhance the player journey.
