Betsson Group continues to strengthen its presence in international padel through two sponsorship agreements in Buenos Aires and Roma, two relevant markets for the global development of this sport.
The brand participated as an official sponsor of the Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1, held from May 11 to 17 at the Mary Terán de Weiss stadium (Arena Parque Roca). The fifth edition of the tournament brought together top-tier players from the international circuit and hosted a total of 114 matches.
The event also achieved a notable attendance figure during the semifinals, with 16,920 spectators, a number that set a new world record. The competition also had international broadcasting through Disney+, Red Bull TV, and YouTube.
The collaboration in Buenos Aires adds to other recent actions by Betsson in Argentine padel, including the sponsorship of the 2025 edition of the tournament and the Summer Pro Padel 2026 in Mar del Plata.
Following its presence in Argentina, Betsson Sport now focuses its activity in Europe as the Official Partner of the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel, being held in Roma from May 31 to June 7. The Italian event is one of the four Major tournaments on the global circuit and will gather the world's top-ranked players in the Italian capital.
In addition to on-court visibility, Betsson Sport will develop interactive actions and brand experiences aimed at fans during the tournament.
Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group, highlighted that padel continues to grow rapidly in different regions and that Argentina and Italy are important markets for both this sport and Betsson.
