Sazka group, a Czech betting and lottery operator, has finalized the agreement that was announced in December with Novomatic and now has a 55.48% stake in Casinos Austria. Thus, Sazka goes from having a 38% to being a majority partner.
According to financial information, Sazka was able to complete this operation valued at more than € 100 million, thanks to the purchase of an additional 17.19% stake from the Novomatic group and through an agreement with the Austrian investment agency, Österreichische Beteiligungs AG ( ÖBAG), which owns a 33.20% stake.
