 Playtech made significant donations to organizations promoting education amidst COVID-19 crisis (Photos)

 
 Playtech, the renowned London company specializing in the development of game software, has reaffirmed its great corporate social responsibility by supporting four non-profit organizations in the Philippines that promote education in the midst of the health crisis caused by COVID-19.

In this regard, Playtech Limited has understood the importance of supporting education to overcome the learning disruption for 1.6 billion students worldwide due to lockdowns and other restrictive measures.

We describe the donations made by Playtech to education in the Philippines below:

1.- Campaign: "Help Culion Children Adapt to Distance Learning" by Culion Foundation, Inc.
Goal: to support the education of underprivileged fifth grade students in Culion, Palawan.
Donation: school supplies, hygiene kits and vitamin C for students. Also, the organization was able to purchase printers and paper for printing learning modules.

2.- Campaign: "Hope for Dreams" campaign of the Pangarap Foundation
Objective: to raise funds for the beneficiaries of Educational Assistance of the foundation for S.Y. 2020-2021. It takes care of street children and young people who do not attend school by providing them with shelter, education and other basic needs.
Donation: school supplies, hygiene kits and vitamin C. Also, the organization was able to buy printers and paper for printing learning modules.

3.- Campaign: "Our learning center in Porac needs your help" by PEACE KAMP
Objective: bring education to rural communities and meet the additional needs of their students. The Foundation built an Online Learning Center for the Aetas, an indigenous tribe in the Philippines.
Donation: educational equipment, school supplies, hygiene kits and snacks for the children of Aeta.

4.- Campaign: "Give2Achieve" of the Virlanie Foundation
Objective: promote the value of inclusive education.
Donation: learning equipment and a 2-year internet subscription to the foundation.

Playtech believes that, through corporate social responsibility projects, it can have a greater impact on the community and increase employee engagement. The company claims that employees who have participated in these activities are more productive and have a greater sense of pride and commitment to the company.
