As we recently reported, Betway announced the renewal for the fourth consecutive year of the sponsorship agreement with the Brazilian e-sports organization MIBR (Made in Brazil) and will now include the women's team. It should be noted that this action demonstrates Betway's commitment to help promote female participation in eSports and, therefore, equal opportunities.
Regarding the extension of this association, Adam Savinson, representative of Betway, was satisfied with the incorporation of more members to the eSports family that they sponsor.
MIBR signed their Counter Strike women's roster in January, and the team managed to win the first division of the Grrrls League 2021, earning more than € 6,000. Along these lines, Yuri 'Fly' Uchiyama, director of MIBR, said: "The women's Counter-Strike scene is growing more and more and we are very proud to be able to extend this partnership with Betway to support the promotion of this community”.
