Sportradar has announced the appointment of Andrew Bimson as COO for North America.
Sportradar has explained in a press release that Bimson will oversee and be responsible for the growth of Sportradar's three main business areas: betting and gaming, sports entertainment (media solutions) and advertising (marketing services).
It should be noted that Bimson has been with Bloomberg for the past ten years, where he has held various senior management roles and served as global director of business marketing operations and analytics.
During his more than 20-year history, Bimson has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies and global brands, building relationships across a wide network of contacts and industries.
Referring to this appointment, Arne Rees, CEO of Sportradar North America, emphasizes the great growth of the North American market and the important role that Bimson will have "in partnering with our leaders to articulate this vision, align teams around it, and create meaningful KPIs to measure our progress will be critically important”.
