The Gauselmann Group strengthens the Public Affairs department and announces the appointment of Bastian Scholz, as the new Senior Manager.
The Gauselmann Group has explained in a press release that Bastian Scholz is responsible for the coordination and intensification of the political work of the Gauselmann Group in the Marketing, Communications and Policy board division, since last April 1st.
From the group they emphasize that the appointment seeks to further strengthen the political work area of the Gauselmann Group. More specifically, in the words of Manfred Stoffers, Director of Marketing, Communications and Policy: "We are very pleased to have been able to hire such a well-connected employee who had so much experience at a young age."
Bastian Scholz is 36 years old and has a doctorate in Political Science. Before taking on this new challenge, he worked for several years as a research associate at the German Bundestag's Committee for Transport, Construction and Urban Development and in university political education for adults.
Also, the new Senior Manager for Public Affairs worked on the political activities of the German Sports Betting Association (DSWV), so he is familiar with the complexity of the subject.
Speaking of his appointment, Bastian Scholz said: "During my work at the German Sports Betting Association, I was able to gain a lot of valuable experience in gaming policy. I am very happy that I can now bring this to the German market leader and thus continue advancing the work of the Gauselmann Group in the sector".
