Blackstone anuncia el mayor fondo de su historia para la inversión inmobiliaria en Europa

Blackstone acaba de anunciar que ha conseguido captar 9.800 millones de euros en el que es el mayor fondo jamás logrado para invertir en inmobiliario en Europa.

Se trata del llamado Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VI (BREP VI). Así James Seppala, responsable inmobiliario en Europa de Blackstone afirma: “Estamos encantados con el apoyo recibido para BREP Europe VI y estamos agradecidos de contar con una fuerte representación de inversores nuevos y recurrentes de todo el mundo, incluidos planes de pensiones del sector público que representan a millones de jubilados”... ·nos permiten poner capital a trabajar estratégicamente durante este período de alta volatilidad”.


El fondo aumenta el capital no invertido de la empresa para el sector inmobiliario oportunista hasta alrededor de 30.000 millones de dólares, justo en plena agitación económica y social por el Covid-19.

Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VI Announces €9.8 Billion Final Close


April 8, 2020, Blackstone (NYSE:BX) today announced the final close on its sixth European opportunistic real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VI (“BREP Europe VI”). BREP Europe VI has total capital commitments of €9.8 billion – the largest ever dedicated European Real Estate fund. In September 2019, BREP Europe VI committed to its initial investment, the purchase of Dream Global REIT’s high quality and diversified portfolio of office and logistics assets in Western Europe.

James Seppala, Head of Real Estate Europe, Blackstone said:
