Paul Gauselman, founder and owner of the Gauselmann Group, created a charity with his wife 21 years ago, accumulating an impressive € 16.2 million in donations.
The Paul and Karin Gauselmann Foundation has focused its efforts on supporting sports and health-oriented projects. Thus, during 2019, it donated € 250,000 to 180 projects in different parts of the German geography, and dedicated a large part of the resources to the purchase of equipment for children, youth and social service projects of cultural organizations and clubs, among others.
These valuable social actions have generated the admiration of the authorities and the general public, for which Paul Gauselman was awarded the honorary citizenship of both Espelkamp and Lübbecke in 2004 and Karin Gauselmann of Espelkamp in 2015.
