The multinational LUCKIA has been one of the companies in the gaming industry that this week has been supporting the concentration by the hospitality industry.
The claim held in the center of Madrid has had great repercussions in the press and social networks, that is why José González Fuentes, president of the Group, wanted to share with our readers his requests and the position of the company he directs regarding these unappealable demands , for the good of a sector of the economy that is fundamental for Spanish society.
José González Fuentes, president of the multinational LUCKIA, answers our questions:
-What is LUCKIA's position on this?
-As it cannot be otherwise, we unconditionally support this sector of the Spanish economy, which represents more than 6% of the national GDP, providing direct employment to almost 2 million people.
The numbers speak for themselves. Furthermore, we feel especially close to this great group because, in some way, we are “partners” in the joint exploitation of gaming machines. Their future will be our future.
-What would you ask the government to support the Hospitality Industry of Spain and all the parallel sectors that it supports?
-I would ask them to be just as equanimous as with other sectors that have received direct financial aid.
They are going to be very tough months, with new restrictive measures as a result of the outbreaks of the disease, so this sector must be provided with means (aid, tax credits, rents, etc.), for, at least, guarantee their subsistence while the vaccine is not a reality, as it is currently in the process of research and development.
