Jose Gonzalez Fuentes, President of Luckia, has lit up the global gaming scene at the World Casino Awards. Three of its casinos have been acclaimed as the best in the world.
In this conversation, we dive into the secrets behind the success and personal vision that drives Luckia's excellence in Colombia, Spain and Croatia: the personal formula for success of this visionary leader in the gaming industry.
Jacqueline Mecinas: First of all, congratulations on LUCKIA's recent success at the World Casino Awards, where three of your casinos were recognized as the best in the world in 2023. How did you receive the news and what does this achievement mean for LUCKIA?
José González Fuentes: I received it with great satisfaction, because it is the first time we are recognized as the best casinos in Colombia, Spain and Croatia. This is an award to the teams that work hard every day in such competitive markets as these.
JM.- It is really impressive to see that three of your establishments, Casino Luckia Bogota in Colombia, Gran Casino Bilbao in Spain and Luckia Casino Osijek in Croatia, have been highlighted in their respective countries. Can you share more about what makes these casinos so exceptional in their categories?
JGF.- There are no secret formulas but a lot of work behind and a culture that sets the way of how to do things at every moment. A motivated and committed team, that feels the colors of the Company, allows our clients to continue trusting their training time with us, and that is the real prize.
JM.- The World Casino Awards seek to celebrate excellence in the casino industry. How does LUCKIA ensure that it maintains high standards in all its establishments and remains a global leader in the gaming industry?
JGF.- Like all companies, we have processes that are reviewed on a recurring basis, often by our Quality Control teams as well as by the customers themselves through the corresponding surveys. And always with a long-term view, without ceasing to be a family company, which logically requires us to be a more modest company and aspiring to maintain the position that corresponds to us in terms of trajectory and size.
JM.- These awards are a seal of quality and distinction in the entertainment and hospitality industry. How does LUCKIA plan to capitalize on this recognition to strengthen its position in the global market and attract more clients?
JGF.- Well, from the moment we are being recognized for this distinction in some way we believe we are already capitalizing on it, although this possibly does not mean that it will attract more clients. We have to do things very well and we cannot rest on this recognition.
JM.- Finally, is there any message you would like to share with LUCKIA's customers and followers regarding these achievements and the future of the company?
JGF.- A message of gratitude for their loyalty and trust in our Casinos because without them, it would not be possible to open with enthusiasm every day and even less to be awarded with a prize like the one we are talking about.
