Amidst the booming online betting houses and casinos in Ceuta, the President of the City, Juan Vivas, paid a visit to the facilities of the newly arrived entity in the autonomous city: DAZN Bet.
Accompanied by Carolina Pérez, Chief of Staff, Kissy Chandiramani, Counselor of Finance, Economic Transition, and Digital Transformation, and Enrique Reyes, Manager of the Autonomous Tax Services Agency (OASTCE), the official had the chance to get a firsthand look at the operations of this company. Recently, it commenced operations from Paseo de las Palmeras and currently employs over twenty workers.
During the visit, local representatives toured the premises and engaged in discussions with the company's management, as well as with several members of the staff. The workforce is expected to grow in the coming months, as the company aims to continue expanding from Ceuta.
Presently, over fifty iGaming-related companies are established in Ceuta, benefiting from the advantageous taxation provided by the Special Economic and Fiscal Regime of the City. This sector employs over 600 individuals, with projections to surpass 700 job positions before the year's end.
In Ceuta, DAZN Bet faces competition from other sector companies, sharing space with the seven leading firms in terms of revenue. Among them, 888 Online Games España tops the list with an annual revenue of 1.44 billion euros, followed closely by Gamesys Spain Sociedad Anónima with sales of 829.5 million euros in 2021. Casino Barcelona Interactivo completes the top three with a turnover of 304.4 million euros. The list of online betting houses in the city includes Sportium Apuestas Digital (259.1 million), Luckia Games (235.8 million), Euroapuestas Online (210.5 million), and Bet on Red Digital (112.8 million).
