In a letter signed by the Vice President of the R. Franco Group, María José Gallardo Herreros, the multinational announces a Record of Temporary Employment Regulation (ERTE in its acronym in Spanish).

R. Franco Group has been forced to make the painful decision to initiate an Employment Regulation File, an unprecedented event in our history.
As you well know, in recent years, our sector has been under unfair and unprecedented regulatory, political, social and media pressure. To this fact, we must add the premeditated generation, from different spheres, of an unreal social alarm and the context of the health and economic crisis that we are experiencing, which has caused the paralysis of the land-based gaming sector, and very specifically of the Manufacturing Industry. All this has inevitably led us to adopt this tough decision, after exhausting any other alternative route. This is undoubtedly a highly traumatic measure for an organization in which our employees have always been a great family.
The Employment Regulation File will affect 100 people, out of a total workforce of 400, belonging to land-based gaming areas.
At this time, the "negotiating table" has just been set up with the Works Council in order to start the negotiations that will take place in the coming weeks. Our objective is to reach the most favorable agreement possible for the interests of all those affected, offering them the best conditions and a process in which voluntariness, cordiality, dialogue, mutual collaboration and the preservation of the rights of our workers always prevail. .
However, R. Franco Group wants to convey a message of confidence regarding its future. Despite this tough decision, which, I insist, we have been forced to assume, the company wants to move forward, based on its values: experience, innovation and commitment, and basing its strategy on a clear commitment to the digitization of its activity and internationalization of the land-based gaming area with a special focus on Latin America and Europe.
Now, more than ever, are times to continue defending together this great Industry, which brings enormous value to society and many thousands of jobs.
