Gauselmann Group cooperates with the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe

The Gauselmann Group has once again cooperated with the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe and has allowed four of its students to undertake a three-month project, which is certainly a very valuable opportunity to put into practice some of the knowledge learned in the master "Management of medium-sized companies".

In this regard, despite being far from the classic student life due to the restrictions against the spread of COVID-19, students have been able to work telematically, relying on weekly Zoom meetings, which were essential to resolve concerns, set goals and document the progress of the project.

The purpose of the project was to verify the profitability of a company affiliated to the Gauselmann Group in the current semester and to develop different scenarios to increase it. As confirmed by the group through a press release, the project was launched in November and, in early February, the results were presented to a committee of scientists and business representatives.

Theresa Schröder, Human Resources Marketing Director of the Gauselmann Group, said that the group is satisfied to be able to contribute to enrich the experience of students in difficult times and she is confident that they will participate in the collaboration again.

The contact person at the company was Dr. Christoph Husemann, Group Commercial Director, who stressed: "It is always exciting to work with students and develop their impartial point of view."

Meanwhile, the student Timo Rauch, referring to the experience, said “We obtained very practical knowledge and we were able to get a lot out of ourselves and our studies. It was a really educational moment”.
