Gauselmann Group has announced that the M-BOX 111.111 is rolling off the production line at its headquarters in Lübbecke. For this achievement, the company has presented a special initiative: the donation of €111,111 for the victims of the 2021 flood disaster in western Germany.
We must remember that the group's employees initially raised 85 thousand euros, a figure that was supplemented by the Paul and Karin Gauselmann Foundation up to €95,800. Now, it will increase again by €15,311 to reach the iconic figure of €111,111, thus equaling the number of units produced.
Gauselmann Group has explained in a press release that the M-BOX, a product launched in 2015 after four years of intensive development, is the most successful slot machine in the world in the last 20 years and is characterized by an ergonomic and slim design, Cutting-edge technology with a sustainable core and fantastic gaming on up to three screens in brilliant Full HD resolution.
Company founder and Chairman of the Board Paul Gauselmann commented: "There's no denying that the M-BOX's outreach to so many gaming arcades around the globe is a very special milestone, bringing continued gaming enjoyment to many people." .
On the other hand, Jürgen Stühmeyer, Management Board member, MERKUR Sales, highlights the design of the M-BOX above all in terms of "technology, sustainability and energy efficiency". He also commented that the great success of this product "is confirmation that our development department has pulled off a true masterstroke."
According to Gauselmann, despite the excellent performance capabilities, multiplayer is much more energy efficient, resulting in up to 50 percent lower power consumption, an advance that not only benefits operators, but also the environment.
