In 2010, Paul Gauselmann, founder and CEO of the Gauselmann Group, decided to save one of Espelkamp's most important historical monuments from decay and give it a new purpose: Schloss Benkhausen became the Gauselmann Group's training and education center.
Ten years after the renovation, the businessman celebrates the anniversary of this important work and received numerous guests of honor in front of the venerable building on Friday afternoon, May 20.
According to Gauselamann Group, the historic property was converted into one of the most modern conference facilities with a hotel in the region over the course of a roughly five-year renovation phase.
With 13 seminar rooms and 38 single/double rooms for a total of 50 overnight guests, it is available both as a training center for the corporate group and for seminars and events organized by other companies.
Among the guests we must point out the district administrator Anna Katharina Bölling, the CDU member of the state parliament Bianca Winkelmann and the mayor Dr. Henning Vieker.
