Paul Gauselmann, founder and CEO of the Gauselmann Group has given a new demonstration of social commitment to his region of origin and will pay all the costs for the renovation of the Bridge over the Göckenteich, which has been in very poor condition for many years.
The Bridge over the Göckenteich is in Borghorst, a suburb of Steinfurt, whose mayor Claudia Bögel-Hoyer called Paul Gauselmann and asked if he could imagine doing better for his birthplace. For example, to help cover part of the costs of the modernization of the Göckenteich Bridge, which have been increasing over time.
Given the request, the businessman did not think twice and wanted to take charge of everything and will donate 300,000 euros for the renovation works. Initially, in the mayor's words: "I didn't even know if I could take that for the city that easily."
